Namine remained silent, her lips open gently, small breaths coming in, and rapid breaths going out. She was shaking, and as soon as Roxas touched her, she jumped. Subconciously, she leaned into him, body cold again. 'So dark.... please light... return.. please...' she begged inside, blue eyes clenched tightly closed.

Roxas felt tears comming in his eyes, but he fought them back. He wondered how she lived through nights. "N-Namine... It's j-just a rain storm," He spoke, a lump in his throat. He hugged her close to himself, but more for protection. His hair seeping infront of both his eyes now. His blue eyes were clentched shut just like hers, fighting back tears he didn't want to come. He hated seeing Namine in this state. She was vibrating so much that even he was starting to tremble.

Namine felt Roxas enclose her in his embrace, and for once, she felt in place. It was that kind of feeling that came when you found where you truly belonged, the kind of feeling that felt... safe. As if on cue, the lights started up again, all that was left in the room, Roxas, Namine and the piano.
Darkness was a fear. A fear Namine seemed to posess greater than anything. No wonder her room was white, as were her clothing. She may be an adolecent, but when it came to the lonliness of darkness, Namine was like a mere child. Still quaking in his embrace, she looked up at the boy who had not turned her away, his eyes overshadowed by locks of blonde hair.

Roxas Opened his eyes and saw his hair highlighting the lights. Through his hair he could see Namine is his arms. 'That's right, she was scared, so I tried to comfort her...' He thought to himself. The lump in his throat was gone now. "You better now?" He asked, keeping her in his arms. He smiled underneath his coat of soft hair. She was still trembling a bit, but not as bad. He was glad she wasn't as terrified anymore. He felt more safe with Namine then with anyone else. Like, she was the missing key in his life. Ofcourse, that could be just him. He shook his hair away from infront of his face, but a peice managed to slip infront of his left eye. He smiled and started to play with Namine's hair absently.

Namine breathed easily now, feeling that feeling again... safety. "I think so..." she said, her voice but a few decimals above a whisper. Feeling her hair move, she realized Roxas must be playing with it, which didn't bother her one bit. The thunder clapped again, but it seemed a million miles away, right now, in this moment in time, it felt like nothing... absolutely nothing, could reach her.... as long as she was in his arms.

Roxas continued to play with her hair, and kept her in his arms. He was happy, so much more happy then ever before. "I'm glad..." Such few word... But truer words have never been spoken out of his mouth. He was smiling softly, his eyes traveling over her face. He didn't even hear the thunder, only the taps of the rain and her breathing. He only felt her heartbeat under his arms. "So, is this where we will stay all night?" He asked quietly, with a hint of joking.

Namine was silent, his words reached her ears like the softness of snow. One didn't have to hear everything, do understand. Before she knew it, her eyes had shut, but not tightly. They were loose, and calm. Her breathing was shallow, but did not threaten death, or fear, but instead, the girl was sleeping, for the first time in oh too long.

Roxas smiled and took that as a yes. Namine was so cute when she slept. Roxas slowly leaned his head on her's. His breathing simutanious(sp?) with Namine's. He stopped playing with her hair, hand slowly fell down to the ground. There, they slept. It was easy for him to drift into slumber. The feel of her skin was enough to lull him. And soon, he was in deep sleep.

The rain had not stopped all night, nor had it stopped early morning. That explained why birds no longer chirped. Namine's eyes fluttered open, eyes sparkling as that cyrstaline blue shone through. She felt sunlight filter through the moon-window above her, and realized, for the first time in what felt like an eternity, she had slept. Sitting up, though unwilingly, Namine stretched, realizing she and Roxas had remained there the whole night, peaceful. Normally, a girl her age would freak out, but Namine was calm, and she just smiled down on him. He had this aura of calm around him, moreso than usual. Namine took a leap, leaning down and pecking a kiss on his forehead, before standing. She seated herself at the piano chair, gently fluttering along with the keys. The sheer atmosphere seemed to coax her on, the soft, gentle playing echoing ever so lightly against the walls.

Roxas's eyes opened slowly. The sound of Namine playing woke him up, but he didn't care. He sat up and stretched. Looking over to Namine, he smiled. Had he slept here all night? He looked out the window, and it was still raining. He wondered how he had slept that long. "What time is it?" He asked happily. He jumped up to his feet and sat down beside Namine. He felt his hair, and just as he though, it was all spikalisious again. He shook his head a bit to make it even more messy and he laughed.

Namine smiled, the playing abruptly stopping as she realized he had awoken. "I beleive it is somewhere between 8 and 8:30 am." she replied softly, laughing lightly. "So this is what you look like with your hair spiked." she said, her speach equally as soft as her laugh had been. Namine herself had never realized how, delicate, she was, before Roxas had come. He was so much... larger than her. She had never really been up close with another human being in a while, especially a boy. She had never realized how much larger boys where than girls, and how small she was herself. Now sitting on the bench beside him, her small hands on the ivory keys, she realized how helpless she was, and how that much more hopefull it made her. Taking another leap of faith, she pretty much collapsed against his shoulder, not saying a word. No words needed to be spoken. Once more it was that snowfall connection she seemed to have with this boy, that, I speak yet, when no words come you hear me, sort of feeling. And now, instead of speaking, her actions were singing, a soft, melody of the heart.

Roxas nodded his head. He had gotten up early, but he didn't feel tired at all. He felt a lot more energetic. That's what he was thinking about when Namine fell into his arms. Subconsiously he held out his arms and wrapped them around her. He didn't even know what he had just done. He was still thinking about time and such when he did relize. He kept his cool, and smiled softly. He looked down at Namine and started to stroke her hair. It was such soft hair, it was just like water. Namine was so frail and small. He had to be extra careful, but now it just came naturally.

Namine was both surprised and releived at the fact that he did not push her away, but instead stroked her hair as if it was the finest satin, his touch careful, yet tender. Indeed she was small, and she knew it, but because of that, she fit right into the crook of his arm, as if naturally. Namine's eyelids lowered halfway with content, as she hummed gently to herself. The rain grew harder again, but, it was distant. She, and he, were an island. And no matter what, nothing could rea--
"ROXAS! Yo! You in here?!"
The voice belonged to one of the boys from yesterday. Hayner. Namine could tell it was echoing from the main foyer, and the multiple footsteps indicated Pence and Olette had tagged along. Namine's body grew tense, and she lifted herself from Roxas, subconciously. Folding both hands together in anticipation, she wondered if he would be upset she had left him, but at the same time, who knew what that one boy, Pence, would say if he found Roxas with her like so? In order to prevent frustration, she had sat up, even without willing it so.

Roxas didn't hear Hayner at all. Once Namine left him he shot back into realism. He heard the footsteps of his friends. He turned his body so he could get up. He stood up and looked out the door. There they were, sure enough. He sighed quietly and walked over to them, "Heyguys," He said quickly.

"We went to your house this morning, and you weren't there. So we thought you'd be here. C'mon! The roads are perfectly wet for some super slidage!" Hayner shouted, clearly excited.
Namine had drifted to another window, opening it halfway, sticking out her pale hand as raindrops colided with it. She smiled softly, the feeling cool, and pricking.
"Ditch the space-case and c'mon.." Hayner had added softly. I mean, what kind of girl touches rain???
